2013-present

The motif of the house, previously as a hut in the paintings, is found from 2013 in the sculptures made of sponges in present times made of ceramics, which now form their own series with over 20 works. 

The sculptures show scenes of bombed buildings and, allow to get insights into the disturbed everyday life. Insights like these can be obtained in wars around the world; the artist’s houses do not refer to specific wars, but rather become metaphors for destruction and suffering.
